It all started on a spontaneous trip to Radium Hot Springs. A mutual friend had invited a crowd to his cabin to celebrate his mother’s retirement, but as fate would have it, only the two of us arrived.

On a warm evening, the four of us gathered around the fireplace in that cozy living room. Our friend shared a poem he had written. Then, Lady Dia began to sing. Her voice seemed to weave light into the dark, projecting vivid images that danced across the room, tucking themselves into every quiet corner and open space in our hearts.

We couldn't yet predict where the road would lead, but right then, we knew: we wanted to build a stage, gather our community, and share this magic.

Returning to the Okanagan, we called upon every artist we knew and sent out a single, cryptic invitation:

"You are invited to the House of Hope tonight at 7:00 PM. This invite is for you, and for you alone."

 That evening, a movement was born.
